Mounties have charged 44 year old Patrick Mathewsie with manslaughter in connection with the death of a 49 year old man city man. Investigators spent Thursday night and Friday searching through a greenbelt off Winnipeg Street. RCMP Constable Craig Douglas says that's where the body of a 49-year-old man was found. He says Mathewsie and the victim were known to each other and to police. He also says neither of the men were known to be affliated with gangs. Mathewsie is in custody and will appear in court Wednesday. The identity of the victim is being being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
