The RCMP has released new details today about an investigation on the Nak'azdli Reserve in Fort St. James, looking into what they are now calling a 'suspicious death'. Corporal Annie Linteau says they don't have details regarding the victim, but confirm the death was recent. She says additional time and forensic analysis is required to confirm the sex, age and identity of the deceased. Information of the findings was first released yesterday. Police will not confirm if the investigation is tied to the recent disappearance of a Fort St. James man. Fribjon Bjornson was last seen a few weeks ago. He was living with another person on the Nak'azdli reserve at the time he went missing. RCMP are appealing to the public for any further information about the suspicious death, and ask them to contact the Fort St. James RCMP at 250-996-8269 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

My deepest sympathy to all family and friends of whom ever the deceased maybe.
If people really cared, they wouldn't just talk about this happening in their communities, they would put a STOP TO IT! The word on the street is that.. this is all DRUG RELATED!! Its not about race, white people or First Nations people!!! People talk about drugs like its not a big deal these days! Drugs are prohibited in our country and when people have easy going attitudes about drugs it opens doors to the drug trade! So, if you really care...DON'T BE QUIET ABOUT DRUGS!! PUT A STOP TO DRUGS, DRUG DEALERS AND STOP THE DRUG TRADE HAPPENING IN YOUR COMMUNITIES!!
