A well deserved promotion for Prince George - Peace River MP Jay Hill in today's cabinet shuffle . Hill was appointed government house leader, a crucial role ,particularly in a minority government . As the Conservative 's parliamentary general ,he would be responsible for devising strategies to win key votes and gain suport from the opposition when necessary . The government kicks off its new session of parliament with a throne speech on November 18th .
