The Christmas Counterattack campaign is officially over, and RCMP are happy with the results. Sgt. Pat McTiernan says police charged 30 impaired drivers, and there were 15 administrative driving prohibitions and 93 twenty-four hour roadside driving suspensions. That's a total of 138 impaired drivers removed from the local and area highways this holiday season. McTiernan says even thought the counterattack campaign is over, impaired driving is an important focus of the North District Traffic Services throughout the year.
