Its Canada's 142nd birthday, and celebrations are planned at Fort George Park for a good part of the day. There are kids activities next to the Rotary Playground starting at 11 this morning, a craft fair, raffles and displays running from 11 till 6:30, the PG Community Band starts playing at 11:15, and the opening ceremonies at noon kick off a full afternoon of entertainment from around the globe. And don't forget all of that great food at the ethnic food concessions. The celebrations are sponsored by the Multicultural Heritage Society and the City of Prince George.
