A slow start to the summer with temperatures going from normal in early June to significantly cooler with more frequent precipitation toward the latter half of last month . Environment Canada's Jim Steele says the month of July is off to a good start . He says overnight lows may be just a bit below normal but day time highs should be on par. The outlook for the month is for warmer than normal temperatures and drier conditions.
