The number and value of building permits in the first quarter of this year have dropped significantly over the same period last year.
There has been a 20-million-dollar decline in permit values , which the Manager of Current Planning, Nelson Wight says is worrisome. Dave McWalter with L & M Engineering says the city needs to see some of that federal and provincial infrastructure funding.
