Another lacklustre showing for housing starts in the Prince George region last month . The number of single starts remained at 4 , same as in January of 2009 , and there were no multiple starts. Northern BC Market Analyst David Europe-Finner attributes this to a statistically slower first quarter ,and higher unemployment in the region. On the positive side,he says the re-sale picture is improving and we should see evidence of that by way of stronger starts as early as this Spring.
