If you hope to drop the size of your garbage can to a small bin, be prepared to wait.
The manager of Solid Waste Services, Aiden Kelly says there's quite a significant time delay in getting the small can.
Kelly says the demand is partly generated by a desire to save money, but also because people are starting to recycle more. It's a trend the Executive Director of REAPS, Terri McClymont has noticed. McClymont says the Regional District of Fraser Fort George will soon be introducing bans on certain items in the landfill, like cardboard.
