The Spruce Kings gave themselves some breathing room for third place by sweeping Salmon Arm this weekend. The Kings now sit three points up on Chilliwack. Three first period goals were the difference as the Kings knocked off the Silverbacks 6-4. The Kings had 11 different players hit the score sheet, and five of them had multi point games. Next weekend the Kings play a pair in Trail and follow that up with a matinee in Salmon Arm.
