The Cariboo-North East - Zone 8 girls came away with a gold medal in Ringette at the BC Winter games in Terrace this past weekend. This is the first time a ringette team from Zone 8 has won a gold medal at the BC Winter Games. The girls will be putting their home team jerseys back on when they host the BC Ringette A Provincials starting this Thursday at the Kin Centres.
